- Commenced work as a solicitor in conveyancing, commercial and retail leases, commercial transactions, contracts, estates and has continued to practice in these areas.
- In addition to legal qualifications is a member of the Planning Institute of Australia and holds a Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning.
- Has been involved in numerous appeals in the Land and Environment Court in all areas of the Courts jurisdiction including a number of landmark cases.
- Lectured part-time at the University of NSW for 15 years on legal aspects in the Masters of Environmental Studies.
- Has worked in indigenous law particularly in relation to NSW Aboriginal Land Councils.• Experienced in Court actions at all levels.
- Has served on the boards/committees of the Environmental Law Association, Environmental Defenders Office, Public Interest Law Clearing House, Environment Institute of Australia (NSW), Environment Committee of The Law Council of Australia.
